Selecting a Chart with the Type Tab

Use the Type tab to select the type of chart to display. A sample of each chart is shown in Table 10-2. The Chart Expert shows many examples of each chart to the right of the list. As you click on each chart type in the list, the variations will change to reflect the available options. Charts that use an X-Y axis format have an option button that selects whether it is a vertical or horizontal chart. Vertical is chosen by default.
